We currently have a waitlist for riders. In order to get on the waitlist, please do the following:

Fill out the application so that we can review your information. We will call you to discuss you or your rider’s needs, scheduling, and other information.

The fastest way to get your rider in the program is to send in the paperwork. Please fill out the paperwork completely, including the physician approval.

We have a strict 180lb weight limit for the safety of our horses, riders, and volunteers.

Adaptive Horseback Riding Lessons

Great Plains lessons provide students with opportunities to connect with a PATH certified instructor, volunteers, and a horse in order to improve motor and cognitive planning, sensory integration and social skills, and general well-being.

Services are provided for individuals with physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional disabilities.

Schedules and Fees

Great Plains provides year-round lessons structured in monthly sessions. Each lesson is 45 minutes in duration. Monthly sessions: $200.00 / 4 lessons.

Lesson Schedule:

Monday & Thursday: 4 to 8 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization. In order to keep our lessons affordable to our riders and families, we depend on charitable contributions to support our program.
