Adaptive Riding Lessons

Services are provided for individuals with physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional special abilities.

Great Plains lessons provide students with opportunities to connect with a PATH certified and/or Spirit Horse International instructor, volunteers, and a horse in order to improve motor and cognitive planning, sensory integration and social skills, and general well-being.

To start your journey at Great Plains, please complete a New Rider Application using the link below. Please note that we currently have a waitlist for riders.

Schedule and Fees

Great Plains provides year-round lessons structured in monthly sessions. Each lesson is 45 minutes in duration. Monthly sessions: $210.00 / 4 lessons.

Monday: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Tuesday: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursday: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization. In order to keep our lessons affordable to our riders and families, we depend on charitable contributions to support our program.
